The Cleveland Browns have a quick turnaround this week, as they host the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football.

Thursday Night Football could not come at a tougher time for the Cleveland Browns‘ offense.

The Browns find themselves at 3-3 on the year with the Denver Broncos coming to town to kickoff Week 7 of the NFL slate. Denver has the same record as the Browns through as many weeks, but they have gotten there in different ways. With a game that could propel either of these teams trending down of late back into the AFC playoff picture, we have some predictions to make.

Here are five things that are absolutely going to happen for the Browns on Thursday night.

Cleveland Browns: 5 bold predictions vs. the Denver Broncos in Week 6

5. Points will be at a premium in this Thursday Night Football game

No matter what the point spread is in this game, take the under. Points will be at a premium on Thursday Night Football. There are several contributing factors to this on both sides of the field, but here is why we should not expect a fireworks show in Cleveland on Thursday night. Simply put, Denver is struggling offensively, and the Cleveland offense is way too banged up at this time.

For the better part of a decade, the Broncos have been a defensive-minded team. They have had great players on that side of the ball, but cannot seem to get the quarterback position right for the life of them since Peyton Manning rode off into the sunset as a Super Bowl 50 champion. Though he is a defensive-minded head coach, offensive ineptitude may cost Vic Fangio his job for 2022.

As far as Cleveland is concerned, the Browns will be down their two star running backs in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Chubb was ruled out for a second straight game, while Hunt is expected to miss multiple weeks with his injury. Now with Baker Mayfield being ruled out and Case Keenum getting the start in place of him, there is never a better time to bet the under than now.

So whenever the Browns hit pay dirt or put one through the uprights, cherish those moments.
