The New Orleans Saints will look to get back in the win column this week when they face the Washington Football Team.

The New Orleans Saints are now 2-2 on the season following this past Sunday’s 27-21 overtime loss to the New York Giants. On paper, it looked as though the Saints would easily dispatch of the Giants, but instead blew a 21-10 lead and allowed it to reach extra regulation. New York won the coin toss and worked their way into the red zone on a touchdown run by Saquon Barkley to end things in New Orleans’ return to Caesar’s Superdome.

While the loss sure will sting throughout the week, the Saints will now look to get back in the win column on Sunday when they visit the Washington Football Team, who earned a win against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4.

Here are five bold predictions for the game.

5. Alvin Kamara accounts for 150 scrimmage yards

While the Saints offense has had its fair share of struggles thus far, running back Alvin Kamara was stellar this past Sunday. New Orleans’ wide receiver corps is weak with Michael Thomas on the physically unable to perform list. So, they relied heavily on Kamara in the game.

Against the Giants, Kamara rushed for 120 yards on 26 carries. He did not factor into the passing game, as 10 players recorded a reception against New York.

Kamara has a favorable matchup coming against Washington, who were expected to be the same dominant defense that helped them win the NFC East last season. Instead, Washington is allowing a ton of yards to the opposing offense through the first four weeks into the season. When it comes to facing off against running backs, the Football Team has allowed an average of 118.5 rushing yards per game.

With this, and the lack of a quality receiving corps, Kamara has a huge day that results in him accumulating 150 yards from scrimmage.
