Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is playing with all the confidence in the world right now and his team is 2-1.
Life sure is good for the Dallas Cowboys right now. After the team opened the campaign with a rough loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the NFC East side has bounced back with back-to-back wins.
In those victories, quarterback Dak Prescott has stepped up and played quite well for Mike McCarthy. In the Monday Night Football win over the Eagles, Prescott was throwing the ball all over the field with ease. Make no mistake about it, Prescott is feeling great right now and his play surely backs that up.

“Yeah, I feel like I’m playing the best I’ve ever played,” Prescott said following Monday’s win via Pro Football Talk.
In the 41-21 win over the Eagles in Week 3, Prescott indeed looked outstanding. He finished the game 21-of-26 for 238 yards and three touchdowns. He very well could have had four, but Ceedee Lamb was taken down just short of the end zone on the team’s opening drive.
On the year, Prescott has thrown for 878 yards, six touchdowns and two interceptions. More importantly, Dallas is 2-1 and they’re looking like serious favorites to win the division. With Washington, New York and Philadelphia all struggling, it makes Dallas look even better as a result.
For Prescott, he’s of course had to overcome the mental battle from his fractured ankle in 2020. He’s clearly not worried about what happened in the past, though, and is solely focused on helping this team win the NFC East this year. With Prescott playing so well, Dallas really is looking like a tough team to beat regardless of who they’re playing. Watch out for the ‘Boys and Prescott the rest of the way.
