Explosive December for the WBA

December will be an intense month for the World Boxing Association (WBA), with spectacular fights that will thrill the fans and, at the same time, will comply with the title reduction process carried out by the pioneer organization. A total of 12 fights will be contested, 8 of which will be world championship bouts. 

The first bout the WBA last month of the year will take place on December 5 with Gervonta vs. Isaac Cruz for the WBA Lightweight belt. 

The dessert will be the main event between Ryota Murata and Gennady Golovkin, who will close the year in Tokyo, Japan on December 29, when the middleweight Super Championship will be at stake. 

However, in between, there will be very interesting fights and fighters, as is the case of Dmitry Bivol and Umar Salamov, who will fight for the Super Light Heavyweight Championship of the pioneer organization on the 11th. On the same day, Arsen Goulamirian will expose his cruiserweight Super Championship against Alekssei Egorov. 

December 14 will be another two-fight day, when Japanese star Naoya Inoue defend his bantamweight Super Championship against Filipino Arab Dipaen. For his part, Thammanoon Niyomtrong will defend his minimum super championship title vs. Robert Paradero. 

On the 18th David Morrel and Alantez Fox will clash for the Super Middleweight belt, and on the 21st Victorio Saludar and Erik Rosa will fight for the regular 105 lbs. belt.

Super welterweight elimination: Michel Soro vs. Israil Madrimov. 17/12/2021

Light heavyweight eliminator: Gilberto Ramirez vs Yunieski Gonzalez. 18/12/2021
