Look: Tom Brady threw five more touchdowns against Dolphins

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady now has 15 touchdowns this season, continuing a historic season for the 44-year-old.

A win is great.

A win with 45 points is even better.

And a win with five passing touchdowns and 411 passing yards is only something the NFL’s best can accomplish week in and week out.

Before an outstanding Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins, Tom Brady was tied at third for the most passing touchdowns in the 2021 season. Now he has 15, which puts him ahead of Los Angeles Rams sensation Matthew Stafford with 12. Unless Dak Prescott scores five touchdowns against the Giants, Brady will likely have the second-most passing touchdowns in the NFL heading into Week 6. It’s an impressive statistic for the 44-year-old quarterback who has often been criticized as a “dink and dunk” quarterback. In Miami, Terrific Tom was on full display.

Brady kicked off the TD spree with a quick laser over the middle to running back Giovanni Bernard. Bernard looked like a James White in red and white as he tumbled into the end zone for the 10-yard touchdown.

Then, Brady targeted favored wideout Antonio Brown on a 3rd and 2 for a 62-yard trip to the house. Brady snuck him a sweet pass, but it was all Brown as he sprinted past the secondary for the wide-open end zone.

After ruling out Mike Evans in the end zone, Brady zipped another one to Brown for his third passing touchdown of the day.

But Brady wasn’t finished. In the fourth quarter, he landed two more touchdowns to his other favorite target: legendary Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans.

While the Bucs defense faces serious injuries across the board — including another one sidelining middle linebacker Lavonte David — this Tom Brady-led offense is expected them carry them to a postseason slot.

Last week, Brady broke the record for most passing yards of any NFL quarterback. If he keeps scoring like this all season, he just might make NFL MVP for the fourth time in his career.
