The Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns are among the NFL teams that need to be on upset alert in Week 7.

The chalk mostly held in Week 6 as favorites dominated the action but there were a few notable upsets. Last week’s upset alert slideshow nailed all three of its upset picks as the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos all lost.

There are six teams on bye this week so that means fewer games to watch out for. Despite that, there are still a few teams that need to be very careful ahead of their Week 7 matchups to avoid getting picked off. All odds referenced in this story are provided courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook.

3. NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 7 – Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns were actually favored in Week 6 before getting demolished at home by the undefeated Arizona Cardinals. To make matters worse, the Browns suffered another significant injury as running back Kareem Hunt injured his calf and is expected to be out for several weeks.

Cleveland was already without Nick Chubb and now Baker Mayfield is sidelined by a completely torn labrum in his left shoulder, an injury that has severely diminished his effectiveness. Having a short turnaround won’t help as the Browns have to play on Thursday night this week against the Denver Broncos.

Oddsmakers have set Cleveland as three-point favorites but Denver’s defense will make it a difficult challenge with the quick turnaround. The Broncos have looked sluggish since their 3-0 start but they are the far healthier team, making them a real threat to beat Cleveland this week.
