Mason Crosby had an incredibly bad day for the Packers
Green Bay Packers fans are putting all the blame on Mason Crosby for his play on the road to the Cincinnati Bengals.
In what had to feel like deja vu for a lot of Packers fans, Matt LaFleur played for the field goal in the worst possible moment.
Despite Crosby missing two field goals and one extra point on the day — including one in the closing seconds — LaFleur trotted out his veteran placekicker for a potential game-winning attempt at Cincinnati in overtime.
It didn’t work to LaFleur’s favor, as Crosby would miss his third on the day. His confidence was clearly shattered.
Despite having Aaron Freaking Rodgers on his side, LaFleur played it safe. The result was misery for Packer Nation.
Thankfully, Crosby made the kick that counted just a few minutes later, but from a much shorter distance. The Packers came away with the win.

Whether fair or not, Crosby will be considered the WOAT even should the Packers win this game on the heels of his very foot. When you miss three straight, that’s just what happens.

There were many more which…were not as kind or safe for work, so we left them out.
The Packers will likely give Crosby plenty of time to figure out his case of the yips, as he’s been with the team for awhile. The veteran kicker has delivered in the clutch time and time again, making this appearance all the more confusing for a fanbase that’s grown accustomed to him making said kicks with regularity.
