With the Las Vegas Raiders hoping to record an upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, they could be without multiple standouts.

One of the most intriguing matchups on the docket this weekend is the one between the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. For the visitors, things could be tricky for them due to multiple guys being out of action.

At Thursday’s practice, the team was without tight end Darren Waller, running back Jalen Richard, linebacker Denzel Perryman and defensive end Carl Nassib. All four guys have important roles for this team. Will they be able to get back on the field in time for Sunday’s matchup?

Darren Waller is hopeful he’ll be able to play against the Chiefs

Of all the guys on the list, Raiders fans really have had their eyes on Waller. The star tight end suffered a knee injury against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, forcing him to miss the matchup against the Washington Football Team this past weekend.

Waller’s absense really hurt the Las Vegas offense, as the team went on to suffer a 17-15 loss at home. Derek Carr is hopeful himself that Waller can get back on the field, as he really is a fantastic option, especially in the red zone.

Elsewhere, Nassib is a monster in the trenches and he’ll be needed to try and put some pressure on Patrick Mahomes. The Raiders will need to play near perfect football on Sunday if they want to stun the Chiefs.

We should know more on these players’ availability in the coming days. With that said, the tall task of trying to take down Kansas City will only get more difficult if multiple guys won’t be able to suit up.
