Spider-Man: No Way Home Artwork Unites All Three Spideys

Spider-Man: No Way Home Artwork Unites All Three Spideys

With the recent release of long-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home, new artwork unites three different iterations of Marvel’s iconic webslinger.

Warning: This post contains SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home

New Spider-Man: No Way Home artwork unites all three versions of Spider-Man who appear in the movie. Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been filled with multiple highly anticipated projects, but Tom Holland’s third solo film arguably is the biggest of them all. Audiences were left wondering to see what would happen to his Spider-Man after Peter Parker’s identity was made public in Spider-Man: Far From Home. This was just a small factor in the anticipation for Spider-Man: No Way Home, as rumors swirled for months that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield would appear too.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

The multiverse plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home was responsible for bringing back past Spider-Man villains, who were heavily focused on during the marketing campaign. This focus allowed Marvel Studios and Sony to not show Maguire or Garfield in the trailers, posters, or any other marketing materials. The mystery fueled debate about whether or not the two former Spider-Man actors would appear alongside Holland. It wasn’t until Spider-Man: No Way Home’s theatrical release last weekend that people around the world officially saw all of the Spider-Man stars on screen together.

After roughly a full week in theaters, new promo art for Spider-Man: No Way Home offers various looks at the three Spideys together. The artwork circulating online comes from various shirts from Spider-Man: No Way Home’s merchandise line. The shirts were listed on Amazon by Marvel’s official account (and shared by Spider-Man News and countdown on Twitter) and bring Holland, Garfield, and Maguire’s Spider-Men together. The shirts show them jumping from the Statue of Liberty scaffolding, coming through a Doctor Strange portal, and assembled as the “Spider-Men.” Closeup looks at the different designs can be seen below:

With all three Spider-Men united in this new Spider-Man: No Way Home artwork, it could only be a matter of time before official footage of them together is released online. Holland recently opened up about his experience working with Maguire and Garfield on the movie. He recalled how great it was to work with the former Spider-Man stars and see their excitement to be back in their superhero roles. This interview was previously one of a few examples of people directly involved in Spider-Man: No Way Home addressing what it was like to have them back. The release of this new artwork should open the floodgates for much more.

It was only a matter of time before Spider-Man: No Way Home merchandise started featuring Maguire and Garfield’s versions of Spider-Man too. They are the two biggest characters who haven’t been shown in the marketing to this point. Sony made the potentially risky move of not including two of the movie’s biggest stars in any promo materials pre-release. Now that Spider-Man: No Way Home is out in theaters and dominating the box office, it is no surprise that Sony and Marvel are starting to capitalize on the excitement that comes with their returns.
