Even though things are winding down for 2021, Street Fighter’s Chun-Li has other plans.
Many of us are wanting to relax as Christmas and the New Year are fast approaching but some just want to set the world on fire with their kick-ass cosplays.
The self-proclaimed “strongest woman in the world”, Chun-Li is a familiar face to those who love Street Fighter. Her appearance may have differed several times throughout the series, as well as in official art and cameos she has made in other works, but there’s no denying who Street Fighter’s very first female fighter is.

Chun-Li Cosplay
Stepping into the shoes of the powerful tritagonist and main female protagonist of the Street Fighter series, originally debuting in Street Fighter 2, cosplayer caytiecosplay comes out kicking in her stunning tribute to the mighty Chun-Li.
Wearing what looks to be a qipao ( Chinese dress) that’s had some adjustments made to it for those high kicks, caytiecosplay also sports Chun-Li’s white combat/boxing boots.
Finishing her cosplay off, the caytiecosplay styles her hair in Chun-Li’s trademark hairstyle and is also equipped with those spiked metal bracelets that Chun-Li wears to help tone and exercise her body when performing her kicking moves, including helping stabilize her centre of gravity during a Hyakuretsukyaku.
Of course, being a talented cosplayer, Caytie dresses up as many other characters that include Cammy White from Street Fighter, Raven from Teen Titans and Kitana from Mortal Kombat. Head on over to her Instagram to check them all out and more. As a word of warning, some might be NSFW.
