The Deathless Mother first appears in the dreams of Yennefer, Fringilla, and Francesca. She manipulates them to visit her hut in the forest. There, Voleth Meir promises to give the three women what they truly desire and take away their pain. However, it was later revealed that Voleth Meir was only using them to escape her imprisonment.

Who is ‘Voleth Meir’ in The Witcher Season 2?
As explained by Geralt, Voleth Meir is a demon that has existed since The Conjunction of the Spheres. She was one of the biggest threats to the Continent, so the first Witchers trapped her in a hut for eternity. However, Voleth Meir still uses telepathy to feed on the pain, hate, and desperation of others.
Voleth Meir promises to get Yennefer’s powers back if she brings Ciri to Cintra. However, Yennefer has a change of heart as soon as she sees the true potential in Ciri and realizes how important she is to Geralt. But in the end, it didn’t matter because the Deathless Mother feeds herself with enough pain and hatred.
She gets powerful enough to escape her imprisonment after feeding on Francesca’s pain of losing her child. Immediately after escaping the hut, Voleth Meir possesses Ciri and uses her body to kill some Witchers in Kaer Morhen. In the end, Geralt realizes that Voleth Meir is feeding off the Witchers’ hatred to get stronger. So, the Witchers stop fighting and simply call Ciri’s name asking her to take back her body’s control.
Meanwhile, Yennefer offers her body to Voleth Meir for a brief moment. However, Ciri opens a portal to Wild Hunt’s world, where Voleth Meir leaves Yennefer’s body and joins a rider of the Wild Hunt.
